US ATTORNEY INDICTMENT OF BIG DIG TUNNEL FASTENER FIRM RESULTS IN CHOMP CHANGE SETTLEMENT AND ALL REMAIN FREE REPORTEED IN BOSTON GLOBE WHOSE NEWSPAPER AND REPORTERS BEAR RESPONSIBILITY FOR FAILURE TO INVESTIGATE AND REPORT

This is a disgrace to State and Local Government and the media including the Globe for its enabling role of failure to report and investigate.

Another big splash indictment and longtime later a chomp change settlement admission of no guilt and all go free!

This is why citizens who know or see, waste, fraud, abuse, or corruption must be careful. Most Delegated Government Law Enforcement Officials cannot be trusted to take action. Potential Whistleblowers Beware: you will get little or no support when coming forward. Do not place yourself or family at risk. Government for the most part does not care or will help for the most part despite some dedicated public servants.

The Big Dig was the world’s most expensive shoddy transportation project rising from $2.3 Billion to $24+ Billion riddled with unchecked waste, fraud, and abuse given to the special interests with no allowed Government Accountability and Oversight.

This is no shame among State and Federal Attorney Generals, Republican or Democrat Governors and Legislatures. State and Federal Oversight Committees except for a few have failed. Those Transportation Committees over the years are too tied to the Special Interests Lobbyists Campaign Contribution Givers. Post Audit and General Accounting Committees with few exceptions have failed. The current Inspector General both State and Federal are failures.

This reporter should have done more investigation and did not. Another Globe reporter and later was reported to Globe management was given direct leads to pursue prior to the accident and did not. That reporter was asked repeatedly to work with the Washington based Whistleblower Group Project on Government Oversight and its Attorney Scott Amey and chose not to verify information. Instead there was pursuit by a questionable source of other so called documentation printed in the Globe later revealed as not being accurate resulting in that reporter having credibility reporting charges leveled.

I challenge to be corrected in any all stated.
