The casino proposal process has now formally begun with Governor Patrick filing legislation.

Massachusetts Broadcasters and Publishers must unite through their associations to fully inform the public and provide accountability and oversight.

Watchdog and so called groups are too weak and non existent to protect the public interest and common good against the $$$$billions of the proponents and their allies.

Failure to provide leadership and direction now will allow the special interests, campaign contributions, and bad decisions to be made.

Will the media unite by leaving their advertising revenue challenges at the door and egos by exercising profiles in courage to insure political influence and corruption which has been with the process of siting in so many areas of legalized gaming?
