BOSTON GLOBE TRANSPORTATION REPORTER NOAH BIERMAN QUOTES ARCHITECT OF THE BIG DIG ON TRANSPORTATION ISSUES!
The Globe and one of its reporters Noah Bierman does it again listening to the architect of the Big Dig Fred Salvucci who gave Massachusetts the world’s most shoddy expensive transportation project in history going from the original $2.3 Billion to $24+ Billion that waits to deteriorate. Salvucci actions as Secretary of Transportation insured no accountability or oversight of the project when he gave Bectel and others no bid cost plus no bid constructs insuring little or no oversight. Inefficiency,Mismanagement, Waste, Fraud, and abuse are its legacy. MIT Professor Salvucci continues to speak or should he be censored and held accountable for the Big Dig debacle.
The Globe did not even listen to its own crusading reporters John Coughlin. Peter Howe, and Charles Sennott when sounding the alarms. They were literally dismissed, demeaned, or intimidated too.
Other Globe reporters did almost nothing to investigate or hold the big Dig accountable always listening to the spin doctors of the Big Dig Special Interest Marching Band against those with little or no resources trying to blow the whistle.
Former Globe Columnist now with CBS4 Jon Keller has stated damaging statements about the Globe position of artery defender.
I challenge anyone to dispute these statements.
